№ 01 — ABOUT
Momentum over motivation.
About Chris Frost.
I have been coaching for the better part of fifteen years, in uniform and out of it.
The practice never had a first day; it was always running, wherever I happened to be. Soldiers I trained and led. Biker gangs in Washington State. Business owners in Asia. Veterans back home in the UK. Entrepreneurs in Australia. Different accents, different rooms, the same conversation underneath: a capable man further from his own drive than he can explain. Recognising that fast — and knowing what moves it — is what those years build.
The Army is where it began. I joined the infantry in 2009 — 2nd Battalion The Rifles — and served eight years, with two tours of Afghanistan, Helmand and Kabul, and years as an instructor.
Getting men to perform when they are exhausted, frightened and far from home is not a metaphor for coaching. It is coaching.
My formal training runs through the Tony Robbins Platinum Partnership — the highest membership tier Robbins runs. And I have lived the flat chapter myself: won the external game, lost the drive. Which is why I recognise it quickly, and never judge it.
Motivation is a mood. Momentum is built. That line has held in every room I’ve been in. The work now has one mission: helping other men find theirs.
